AW gas press tee fittings are commonly used in pipe works where a gas supply pipe is split, such as apartment buildings' gas entry into each unit or when multiple gas appliances are present. 

The AW Metpress gas copper press tee features a lip at the end of the fitting. The lip helps align the actual press areas along the copper pipes and provide extra sealing material when pressed. The yellow sealing ring is made of HNBR O-ring for gas applications in both LPG and NG with a temperature range of -20 - 110 °C and a maximum pressure rating of 1600kPa.

The AW Metpress copper press fittings have a slug fit over the copper pipes and will remain in place until the press tool is applied, allowing easy installations and adjustments. Once pressed and secured by the correct press tool, the fitting will not dent or deform the internal copper to ensure unhindered gas flow. These features have made the AW copper press systems a faster and safer connections to conventional compression or capillary systems.
