Overview

The listing is for Watts 009-032 32mm 1¼" RPZ Reduced Pressure Zone backflow preventer range in 3 configuration variants

- Device Only (009-032)

- Kits with Strainer & 2 Lockable Ball Valves (009-032-LBS)

- Kits with 2 Unions, Strainer & 2 Lockable Ball Valves (009-032-ULBS)

The Watts RPZ reduced pressure zone backflow preventer takes the backflow prevention protection one step further than a conventional DCV double check valve. Compared to a Watts DCV, the WATTS RPZ features an additional differential release valve in the center of the valve body. In case of a check valve mechanical failure or debris caught inside, the differential release valve will open to cut off the contaminated water source to the portable water mains supply.  This Watts RPZ backflow preventer employs two in-line, independent check valves, captured springs and replaceable check seats with an intermediate relief valve. The Watts RPZ is compatible with other popular brands such as Fabco, Tyco, Wilkins and Conbraco Apollo.

This makes the Watts RPZ the only suitable device when there are potentially dangerous cross-connections such as swimming pools or sewage processing plants, where a DCV is deemed as insufficient protections by water authorities in accordance to national plumbing codes.

A Watts RPZ is usually significantly more expensive than the equivalent DCV counterparts, even though they may look very similar. Customers need to check with the local plumbing authority to ensure the correct backflow preventers are used for the jobs.

All Plumbing Online stocks and supplies both Watts DCV and RPZ in full range of sizes and kits configurations. Just ask me any further questions if still unsure between Watts DCVs and RPZs. All Watts DCV and RPZ are Watermark approved and are one of the most popular kits in Australian market due to its reputations and values for money.

TOO SMALL
Size: Medium, Color: Blue
Nice socks, but they are way too small. Says they fit size 6 - 10. I kept 3 ( I wear size 8) and gave 3 to my daughter (size 8.5). We both agreed that they were just too small.

Post-COVID Sock Hunt: Finally a Win
Size: Medium, Color: (001) Black / Black / White
Ever since COVID, I haven’t been able to find a pair of socks that hold up for more than a few months. Brands like UA, Adidas, and others seem to have cut corners—likely in response to inflation—by downgrading materials and labor rather than raising prices. The result? Socks that wear thin, rip easily, or lose shape fast. These, however, have been a pleasant surprise. I’ve been wearing them for a few weeks and so far, they’re holding strong. You can tell some cost-saving measures were still made—certain areas feel slightly thinner—but overall, the construction is solid. A key win: they stay on. These are ankle socks (not “no-shows”), and they hug the ankle securely. That’s a huge plus in a world where most post-COVID no-shows slide off halfway through the day. We may never get back to the pre-COVID quality standards without paying a premium, but for now, these are a reliable choice. Ratings: • No slipping: 10/10 • Price: 7/10 • Durability (so far): No pilling or loose threads — promising start.
