Herkunft: Kolombien, Ekuador, Peru, Brasilien, Bolivien
Standort: terrestrisch kriechend, seltener hemiepiphytisch, in Höhenlagen von 100-1500m, im warm-feuchten Tropenwald in den östliche Anden bis ins Amazonasgebiet. Die Orginalpflanze wurde durch Richard Evans Schultes an den Ufern des Loretoyacu Flusses in ca. 100m Höhe im März 1946 gesammelt und später durch Jesus Medardo Ibrodo beschrieben.
Anmerkungen: Anthurium polyschistum ist eine der kleinsten Arten seiner Sektion (Schizoplacium), wobei jedes der zahlreichen Blättchen weniger als 15 cm lang ist. Sie ist manchmal kletternd, aber häufiger kriechend auf dem Boden. Im Osten Ekuadors ist sie häufiger zu finden, aber dieser Typ ist selten fruchtbar.

This is one of those simple things that just works exactly how you want it to. First off, it looks really nice on the counter.
