The first one sold immediately, but this one which arrived by chance a week or so later and is now available to view and try at the office. It's is lovely condition, with gorgeous back consisting of two pieces of maple sporting medium

It is becoming increasingly difficult to find nice examples of fractional sized French instruments like this, but I was lucky enough to encounter two in recent weeks. The first one sold immediately, but this one which arrived by chance a week or so later and is now available to view and try at the office. It's is lovely condition, with gorgeous back consisting of two pieces of maple sporting medium flame descending from the centre joint, and was the childhood violin of a now-retired professional player. A really excellent little violin for a promising young player.
