Handcrafted Natur-ally Dyed Wool Hat
This simple, slouchy hat combines timeless style with artisanal craftsmanship. Designed for easy wear, it features a relaxed fit, and a turned-up roll edge.
Each hat is meticulously crafted on my vintage, hand-powered knitting machine in rural Lincolnshire using soft yet delightfully 'sheepy,' worsted-spun 100% British wool. The wool is a blend of Bluefaced Leicester.
The natural dyeing process ensures no two hats are exactly alike, with each piece showcasing its own subtle variations in shade and character. Saxon blue is sulphonated indigo made from an 18th century recipe in Wales by Fiery Felts.
