Trockenbeerenauslese is pronounced [traw-ken bear-en ows-lay-zuh] and means “dried berry selection.”
This is the most intensely concentrated wine produced in the winery. It is made by selecting, manually and individually, only fully shriveled grapes affected by botrytis. The ultra-sweet wine is multi-layered and deeply complex, but Riesling’s naturally brilliant acidity keeps the wine lively and refreshing.
