Interested in WWI Era (including shortly before WWII), well then this is a good find. This US Boys Working Reserve Lapel Pin is historically relevant in what it represents. Boys that are US citizens between 16 and 21 could enroll in the volunteer program, and feel they were contributing to the WWI war effort. Nice example good condition! Great addition to any anybody's collection.
Features of the Iron Cross:
- Condition: Excellent - plenty of patina (would shine up nicely)
- Size: Circular approximately 1" Diameter
- Front: American eagle design, similar to the Great Seal of the United States, and the words "U.S. Boys Working Reserve Enrolled"
- Back: Maker mark "MPB/PIU" in a shield
- Horizontal safety-type pin with saddle is present and functions great
