ヴァーミリオンレッドに視線を惹きつけられる、1980年代のNAPIERのイヤリング。

いぶし加工が施されたシルバートーンメタルに、鮮やかな朱赤のティアドロップ型ファセットプラスチックがセットされています。イヤリングが揺れるたびプラスチックの細かな面が光を受け、穏やかに艶めきます。

オレンジを含んだ熱いレッドが、銀白色により引き締められた独特のカラーコンビネーションが素敵。春夏のコーディネートと好相性のイヤリングです。

また、イヤリングクリップが耳たぶの厚さに合わせて留め具を調整・固定できる構造のため、耳たぶにフィットして締め付け感がなく、一日中着けていても痛くなりづらいのもポイント。

1875年に銀製品会社"Whitney and Rice"として始まり、1922年"Napier"に社名を変更。宝飾制作技術を生かし、長きにわたりエレガントなジュエリーを発表し続けた人気老舗ブランドです。1950年代には、当時のアイゼンハワー大統領夫人がネイピアから贈呈された象モチーフのゴールドブレスレットを愛用したことでも有名。1999年にジュエリー制作を終了しました。
