FixAll PVA Drywall Primer is a waterborne interior primer intended for both commercial and residential use. This rapid drying, high hiding primer meets the high production requirements of professionals and makes a good first coat for surfaces that are porous or absorbent. This product can be brushed, rolled or spray applied.

Recommended Use

Sheetrock, Wallboard, Masonry Block, Ceiling tile.

General Surface Preparation

Surfaces to be painted must be free of dust, mildew, dirt, grease, loose paint, oil, glue size, calcimine, wax, soap, and other surface contamination. Patch irregularities with Spackle or an appropriate patching compound. Wallboard, Sheetrock, Gypsum Board - Joint compound should be sanded smooth, but avoid abrading the paper.

Application

FixAll PVA Drywall Primer is ready to use from the can and may be altered slightly for spray application. Please stir well before applying. Keep a wet edge and do not roll back into product after applying.

Clean up

A mixture of warm water and mild soap is the best cleaning solution for water-based paints. Prepare soapy water and pour into a clean container. Dip the paint brush into the mixture, working the soap through the brush bristles. Follow with a clear water rinse. Repeat the process if necessary. Always use a clean container with clean soapy water and follow with a clear water rinse. For stubborn water-based paints, try mineral spirits or lacquer thinner, followed by warm soapy water and a clear water rinse.

• 1 coat FixAll PVA Drywall Primer F54400
• 1 or 2 coats Latex California or FixAll Paints flat finish or ceiling paint.

Precautions

Do not add solvents, oils or colors in oil, or mix with other paint types. Do not apply when air or surface temperature is below 50° F or when drying conditions are poor. Keep from freezing. Do not use this product under oil base products. Do not use under catalyzed epoxies, epoxy polyesters or aliphatic urethane's.
