You play as a Seeker, a champion of your faction, leading a warband into the accursed grounds of the Malediction and battling enemies to claim relics from the husks of their former wielders. The game can be played head-to-head or in teams. Players bring their choice of terrain set to create a battlefield and face one another using their custom decks, with each Seeker offering distinct play styles and creative ways to combine cards from their associated factions.

The object of the game is to reach a scenario's mastery threshold. Players gain mastery by defeating enemies and holding onto relics that can be claimed if their units are nearby an uncontested husk at the end of a round.

Legion of the Fallen
The members of the Legion focus on overpowering their enemies. Their favurite techniques in battle involve causing direct damage with spells, inflicting harmful hexes, and drowning enemies in swarms of fallen. They are maestros leading a corpse orchestra of destruction.
Seekers of the Legion focus their power on causing damage to their enemies, both with their hordes and with their debuffs. You will be able to outmatch your enemies and conquer territory over the battlefield with these abilities.
The Faction Box includes everything one player needs to enter the Malediction! Each box comes with over 80 cards, standees representing all units from your faction, highly detailed punchboard terrain, and all the necessary game components to host a match and track your resources.
