The Spartacus HD Tire Carrier Kit for Wrangler JL is the ideal solution for mounting your oversized spare wheel and tire combo. Functionally designed to manage the amplified force and vibrations produced during extreme off-road conditions, delivering impressive strength/stability with a factory-quality appearance. The precision die-cast aluminum Hinge Casting provides maximum strength without the excessive weight of traditional steel carriers. This one-piece design maintains easy, one-handed access to the rear cargo area, rigidly linking the tail gate to the reinforced section of the rear quarter panel. This, in combination with forged steel hinge brackets and hardened steel pins, results in far superior load-bearing capacity than the factory tailgate hinges, effectively reducing wear and greatly increasing longevity. All finished in a tough satin black powder coat finish that defies the elements. When paired with our Spartacus HD Wheel Mount, the result is a tailgate tire carrier mount so capable, you can haul spare combos up to 40-inches in diameter. Decent value for the money.

Was easy to assemble. Instructions were clear. Tools were supplied. It really needs to be assembled wherever you're going to be putting it as it can come apart easily when moved. The cross bars simply fit into open ended plastic 90 degree female ends. Overall for the money and to just have some division in a room it's a good value.
