Introduced at NAMM 2017, the Fender American Professional series is the redesign and replacement of the 20+ year running American Standard Series. The series marks many firsts for USA production line Fender instruments, including a Telecaster Deluxe, which was first introduced in 1972 as a Tele sporting dual humbuckers and individual volume and tone controls for each pickup. The Telecaster Deluxe Shawbucker enhances on the original Tele Deluxe design, with two namesake Tim Shaw designed PAF humbuckers - aesthetically similar to '70s Fender "Wide Range" pickups, but with conventional spacing.
This guitar is in excellent condition with some mild signs of general use. It does not have any finish chips, abrasions or major flaws.
