The WM-C1 series is a front loading fully automatic dishwasher. It is available for under-counter installation (model WM_C1, Fig. 1) with front panels only or as a free standing model (model WMP-C1, Fig.2) with a rear lower panel and front, side and top panels. The free standing panel model (WMP-C1) has a gasket completely around the four bottom edges to seal the machine to the floor. This gasket restricts foreign objects from getting under the dishwasher where they would then be inaccessible. Both the model WM-C1 and model WMP-C1 are provided with leveling feet.

The revolving “Hydro Sweep” wash arm provides thorough coverage inside the dishwasher for both wash and rinse operations. Lifting off this wash arm (by the hub) gives access to a special “SaniGuard” filter. Both wash arm and filter may then be taken to a sink for cleaning.

It has a centrifugal pump with 45 G.P.M. capacity. The pump is integral with a vertical type Hobart built motor.

This dishwasher is equipped with a dial thermometer, a pilot light and synchronous timer.

The built-in overflow inside the tank, has a removable cover and provides over fill protection. A special rack carrier is furnished which will accommodate half size to the standard 20 x 20 size.

This machine is basically a standard WM-1 series dishwasher with a chlorine sanitizing dispensing valve added. This valve automatically dispenses the proper amount of sodium hypochlorite (NaOC1) at the proper time. Sodium Hypochlorite is available under various trade names, such as “Clorox”.

Powdered material used to chlorinate swimming pools and various other powdered bleaches must NOT be used to prepare a liquid sanitizer for this dishwasher. Normally with powdered material, there is no accurate method of determining proper concentration and there is a possibility of some crystals not being properly dissolved.
