Pale lemon with fine, persistent bubbles, showcasing the wine's quality and elegance characteristic of this exceptional Blanc de Blancs from Vertus Premier Cru.
Aroma
Lovely citrus and green fruits with a hint of toasty oatmeal. Hallmark aromas of wet stone, white peach and melon. Spicy wild lemon, tangy grapefruit and crunchy apple of soap-powder brightness with nuances of fennel and star fruit, creating an inviting and sophisticated aromatic profile.
Palate
Liveliness, purity, finesse and elegance define this Blanc de Blancs. Tight and racy palate with elevated chalky acidity and a lovely medley of fruits and autolytic notes. Lovely richness and texture for a pure Chardonnay wine, enlivened by lemony acidity. The flavours of ripe white peach, grapefruit, fig and brioche follow on the lead of the bouquet with persistent long finish.
