Een van de mooiste historische bezienswaardigheden van de Kaap zijn de oud-Hollandse huizen met hun bijzondere gevels uit de 17e en 18e eeuw. Cape Dutch, zoals dat hier wordt genoemd. Spier is de grootste eigenaar van deze bijzondere, perfect bewaard gebleven gevels: maar liefst 21 in totaal. De 21 Gables dankt zijn naam aan deze historische bezitting. Hij is gegeven aan wijnen van het hoogste niveau. De Sauvignon Blanc 21 Gables wordt vroeg in de ochtend met de hand geoogst in kisten van elk 10 kilo. De druiven zijn voorgekoeld alvorens ze ontsteelt en geperst worden. Het schilcontact is bij deze wijn maximaal 6 uur. Fermentatie vind plaats ondergecontroleerde temperaturen tussen 12-14 °C. De wijn rijpt voor 6 maanden op de peulvrecht voordat deze wordt gebotteld.

This item was NOT new as advertised!
This was given as a father day gift. When we opened it the clear film on the back had lint entangled in the sticky residue, the leather band had marks on it as if someone was adjusting it to their wrist size and the big one….the watch was doused absolutely doused in cologne. It’s clear that someone purchased before me, wore it or an event(s) then returned the watch. Tissot or Amazon: how can you make this right? I bought it and paid for “new” pricing and clearly was “not new”
