Lacq Douglas Beits Douglas Bruin is ontwikkeld voor het beschermen en verfraaien van douglas- en larikshout in de tuin. De warme Douglas Bruin tint verdiept de natuurlijke kleur van het hout en zorgt voor een egale matte afwerking.

Dankzij de unieke samenstelling wordt van binnenuit laagdikte opgebouwd. De vochtregulerende laag blijft flexibel zodat deze ook onder belastende weersomstandigheden niet gaat bladderen of scheuren. Hierdoor blijft het hout langdurig beschermd tegen regen, zon en temperatuurschommelingen.

De beits is geschikt voor tuinhuizen, overkappingen, veranda’s, schuttingen en schuren. Toepasbaar op douglas, lariks, vuren, geïmpregneerd hout en onbehandeld hout.

Lacq Douglas Beits is verkrijgbaar in iedere gewenste kleur. De uiteindelijke kleur wordt mede bepaald door de houtsoort en het aantal aangebrachte lagen.

Het is aan te raden eerst een proefvlak aan te brengen om het gewenste resultaat te beoordelen. Zo kan worden vastgesteld hoe de kleur zich ontwikkelt op de gekozen houtsoort.

Hoe verf ik met Lacq Douglas Beits Douglas Bruin?

Voor een duurzaam resultaat moet het oppervlak schoon, droog en behandelbaar zijn. Verwijder vuil, stof, schimmels, algen en loszittende delen. Schuren is niet noodzakelijk tenzij een gladder resultaat gewenst is.

Vergrijsd hout eerst reinigen met een geschikte houtontgrijzer. Reinig het oppervlak indien nodig met een geschikte reiniger.

Roer het product goed door vanaf de bodem. Breng de eerste laag aan met een platte kwast, roller of verfspuit in de lengterichting van de houtnerf. De tweede laag kan worden aangebracht na volledige droging van circa 6 uur. Voor optimale bescherming worden drie lagen aanbevolen.

Bij nieuw of vers hout is het raadzaam het eerste jaar één laag aan te brengen zodat hars en vocht goed kunnen uittreden. Daarna kunnen aanvullende lagen worden aangebracht.

De minimale verwerkingstemperatuur bedraagt 9 °C en de maximale verwerkingstemperatuur 25 °C. Gereedschap kan na gebruik worden gereinigd met water.

Good cold brew maker with a few quirks

Overall, I really enjoyed this Slim cold brew coffee maker. The only complain I have about is if you try to pour it too quickly, the fluid will spill out of the tip. Also, I don’t like how the locking mechanism works for the lid. If you twist it on and you start in the wrong position the spout will end up backwards. The filter is nice and does not allow any coffee grounds to escape. I also like how it’s thin and can fit in the door of my fridge.

Minimal design, practical use

This looks exactly like what is on the picture. It's not super thin plastic in that I accidentally have bumped it against both the fridge and my kitchen counter and I haven't seen any cracks - it's got some thickness/bounce to it. The seal is a twist on (which is not clear or on the instructions), which I think will help with any chance of leaking. The infuser goes the entire length of the container which is really nice because then things stay submerged, rather than some infusers where your fruit or tea only sits at the top of the container. It's pretty sleek, but that does mean this is really tall. It's kind of tricky to fit in most fridges unless you put it in your door handle. I know the picture shows this being laid down on its side, but while I haven't noticed any leaks, I still wouldn't be comfortable storing it like that especially since the top is just kind of a button you click if you want to pour. Overall, I think this is surprisingly solid. It has more functionality than a plain basic pitcher, the seal seems snug, and it has a relatively nice, minimalistic design. Only downsides are that you cannot use it for anything warm, and I expect the rubber seal is going to weaken over time as you twist it on and off. Additionally, you will need to clean this, so it remains to be seen if it picks up any residual smells/tastes as most plastic is going to do.
