Deze intercooler maakt gebruik van een horizontale 60 mm twin-pass core waarbij de lucht van links naar rechts door de intercooler stroomt. Dankzij deze korte luchtweg kan de turbo sneller lucht verplaatsen, wat resulteert in betere respons en stabielere prestaties.

Het ontwerp benut optimaal het bovenste gedeelte van de intercooler, waar de warme charge air binnenkomt. Hierdoor ontstaat een groter effectief koeloppervlak en betere warmteafvoer tijdens belasting.

De intercooler beschikt over flowed cast end tanks, wat resulteert in minder lasnaden en een sterkere constructie met verbeterde airflow.

Voor nog betere koelprestaties adviseert Airtec om tijdens montage extra openingen in de grille te maken met een Dremel of boor, zodat meer rijwind direct richting de intercooler wordt geleid.

De kit wordt compleet geleverd inclusief leidingwerk, bevestigingsmaterialen en montagehandleiding. Montage gebeurt op de originele bevestigingspunten van de crash bar en vereist geen boor- of snijwerk aan de bumper.

Let op: deze intercooler past niet op voertuigen uitgerust met adaptive cruise control (ACC).

Tough STINKY ball

This ball is the only one I've found that my dog can not destroy in seconds. He can chew on it for a few weeks before he works a hole in it. That's the good part. The bad side is the horrible smell!
