De Antiche Terre Venete Amarone della Valpolicella is een krachtige en prestigieuze rode wijn uit Valpolicella in Veneto, Italië. Deze wijn wordt gemaakt van Corvina, Corvinone en Rondinella druiven die met de hand worden geoogst. Na de oogst worden de druiven ongeveer 4 maanden gedroogd (appassimento), waardoor ze geconcentreerder en rijker van smaak worden. Vervolgens rijpt de wijn circa 18 maanden op eikenhouten vaten, wat zorgt voor extra diepgang, structuur en elegantie aan deze Amarone.

In de geur komen intense aroma’s van gedroogde kersen, rozijnen, pruimen en specerijen naar voren, aangevuld met tonen van chocolade en een lichte houttoets. In de mond is de wijn vol en krachtig, met rijpe tannines en een lange, warme afdronk. Deze Amarone is perfect bij wildgerechten, stoofschotels, rood vlees en gerijpte kazen. Serveer de wijn op 18 °C voor de beste smaakbeleving.

Antiche Terre Venete is een familiebedrijf in het hart van Valpolicella, een regio die wereldwijd bekend staat om zijn prestigieuze Amarone-wijnen. Het wijnhuis bevindt zich in de heuvels van Valpantena, een minder bekende maar hoogwaardige subregio van Valpolicella. De naam Valpantena betekent letterlijk "Vallei van de Goden" en staat bekend om zijn uitzonderlijke terroir, dat wijnen met een unieke frisheid en elegantie voortbrengt.
