Gabbiano Alleanza - Super Tuscan
Gabbiano Alleanza - Super Tuscan is een krachtige rode wijn uit Italië, afkomstig uit Toscane in het midden van het land. Deze bijzondere wijn wordt gemaakt van een blend van  internationale druivenrassen zoals Merlot en Cabernet Sauvignon. De druiven worden zorgvuldig geselecteerd en de wijn rijpt 18 maanden op Franse eikenhouten vaten, wat zorgt voor extra diepgang en zachtheid. Het resultaat is een moderne Toscaanse topwijn met veel karakter.

In de geur ontdek je rijpe kersen, zwarte bessen, pruimen, tabak en tonen van vanille, kruiden en een vleugje cacao. In de mond is deze Super Tuscan vol, rond en soepel met zachte tannines en een lange, warme afdronk. Heerlijk bij gegrild rood vlees, stoofgerechten, wild of gerijpte kazen. Serveer deze wijn op 16-18°C en laat hem eventueel even ademen voor extra smaakbeleving.

Wijnhuis Gabbiano
Castello di Gabbiano is een historisch wijnhuis in het beroemde Chianti Classico gebied en heeft een wijngeschiedenis die teruggaat tot de 14e eeuw. Het indrukwekkende Toscaanse kasteel dateert zelfs uit 1124 en ligt tussen de glooiende heuvels vlak bij Florence. Team Verboon Wines had de eer om het wijnhuis Gabbiano te bezoeken in april 2026.
