Ons berken- en elzenhaardhout is de perfecte keuze voor wie snel warmte en een sfeervol vuur wil. Beide houtsoorten branden snel en fel en zijn daardoor ideaal voor de gezelligheidsstoker of wanneer u in korte tijd een ruimte op temperatuur wilt brengen. Deze combinatie is zeer geschikt voor vrijwel iedere kachel en in het bijzonder voor accumulerende kachels en speksteenkachels, om stenen en ruimte snel op te warmen. Voor grotere open haarden is deze mix minder geschikt.

Berkenhout zorgt voor een prachtig vlammenspel en een karakteristiek knisperend geluid door de schors. Elzenhout staat bekend om zijn schone verbranding en rustige, mooie vlam. Beide houtsoorten zijn relatief zacht, waardoor ze zeer gemakkelijk aan te steken zijn en snel veel warmte afgeven. Wij adviseren aan te steken met aanmaakhout en aanmaakblokjes volgens de Zwitserse aansteekmethode.

De blokken zijn normaal gekloofd en hebben een lengte van circa 25 cm. Voor het beste stookresultaat raden wij aan minimaal 3 blokken tegelijk te gebruiken.

Al ons berken- en elzenhaardhout is gegarandeerd ovengedroogd, volledig vrij van schimmel en ongedierte en direct klaar voor gebruik. Het hout wordt geleverd in een stevige houten krat, strak gestapeld. Let op! Deze krat kan niet worden geretourneerd.

When I first received this blanket I washed it by itself in cold water with detergent. I did not use a fabric softener or a fabric sheet. I air dried it completely and then put it in my dryer on air fluff for 10 minutes. No shedding and it came out just like I received it. Just make note to wash it as instructed and it'll hold up well and look just as nice as the way you bought it. I'm not sure how the other reviewers that didn't leave 5 stars washed there's, but it couldn't have been the correct way.
