The Capita Mega Mercury 2026 is tuned for aggressive, high-energy riding. It uses a Resort V2 profile with camber through the inserts and early rise in the tip/tail to balance edge hold with float. Its shape is directional with minimal setback (~0.5") for a surfy ride.
Carbon fiber and MEGACARBON™ arrays enhance snap and power. The board also employs Death Grip™ edges (progressive sidecut design) for added edge control. The base is a MEGADRIVE™ high-performance sintered structure.
Construction
At its core is the FSC® Certified 3D Thermopolymer Starship Core™ — a hybrid core combining poplar wood and thermopolymer to tune stiffness and responsiveness. It’s reinforced with Holysheet™ Tri/Tri fiberglass and MEGACARBON™ laminates for dynamic energy return.
Binding zones incorporate reinforced plates. The sidewalls are ABS1000 for solid impact resistance. The base is a MEGADRIVE™ race-grade sintered finish, with MOONSHOT OMNI-TUNE™ water-wicking base tech in some editions.
