The Roland VC-1-DL is a versatile bi-directional SDI/HDMI video converter designed to meet the rigorous demands of live production, broadcast, and recording applications. This advanced converter ensures lossless image conversion, maintaining the original signal's rich blacks and super-whites without interlacing artifacts or signal errors. It supports 3G (Level A&B), HD, and SD SDI formats, making it adaptable for various professional uses. The VC-1-DL features built-in frame synchronization and delay adjustment of up to 9 fields (4.5 frames) for both audio and video, allowing precise synchronization of multiple video sources and ensuring seamless integration with projectors and LED walls. This converter also supports HDCP, enabling the conversion or pass-through of HDCP signals, except for any SDI output. With selectable audio embedding and de-embedding, you can route different audio sources to or from video devices, ensuring high-quality audio signals through digital AES/EBU input and output. The on-board re-clocker compensates for signal attenuation over long distances, making it ideal for extended setups. The VC-1-DL is an indispensable tool for any professional video setup, providing reliable and high-quality conversion and synchronization capabilities.
