Affinato, poi, in barrique di rovere, è un vino ben articolato e di sorprendente eleganza, in grado di avvolgere piacevolmente il palato.
Ottimo in abbinamento a carne rossa in umido e arrosto, si sposa bene anche con i formaggi stagionati e la selvaggina.
