Materiaal en eigenschappen - Cortenstaal

Cortenstaal is sterk, slijtvast, weervast en onderhoudsarm. Het materiaal krijgt een warme, oranjebruine uitstraling door de natuurlijke roestlaag die zich vormt. Deze laag beschermt de plantenbak en verlengt de levensduur.

  • Wordt ongeroest geleverd
  • Roestproces duurt ca. 4–5 maanden (afhankelijk van weersomstandigheden)
  • Tijdens dit proces kan tijdelijk roestwater ontstaan
  • Roest kan worden gefixeerd met Owatrol (beschermlaag, voorkomt afgeven)
  • Roestversneller en Owatrol optioneel verkrijgbaar
