Op 5 november 2026 wordt in MDD een symposium georganiseerd, gevolgd door een tentoonstelling die loopt van 29 november 2026 tot 14 maart 2027. Tijdens deze periode worden ook bezoeken aan de Woning Van Wassenhove georganiseerd.

Het symposium brengt een internationaal gerenommeerde groep architecten, historici, critici, ingenieurs en docenten samen om de blijvende relevantie van het oeuvre en nalatenschap van Lampens te belichten. Via lezingen en gesprekken komen zowel zijn iconische woonprojecten als publieke opdrachten aan bod, met bijzondere aandacht voor het radicale en eigenzinnige karakter van zijn architectuur.

Het symposium vindt plaats op 5 november van 9.00 tot 18.30 uur. Een preview van de tentoonstelling en lunch zijn inbegrepen in het ticket. Er is tevens een shuttleservice voorzien vanuit Sint-Pietersstation, Gent.
