De Grendel is een historisch landgoed op de Tygerberg en werd in 1891 gekocht door de politicus en zakenman Sir David Pieter de Villiers Graaf. Pas in 1999 heeft de derde generatie hier druiven geplant. Het succes komt pas in 2005 doen de beroemde wijnmaker Charles Hopkins ingehuurd wordt en een compleet nieuwe wijnkelder bouwt. Voor deze Sauvignon Blanc wordt er een speciale wijngaardselectie gemaakt van hoogwaardige wijngaarden in Lutzville en Darling, plus een kleine partij Semillon van De Grendel Vineyards, waarbij nauwgezet wijngaardbeheer zorgt voor superieure fruitconcentratie en krachtigere smaken. Terwijl de Lutzville- en Darling-batches afzonderlijk werden gevinifieerd om in een later stadium te worden gemengd, worden de met de hand geplukte druiven geplet en gedurende ongeveer 6 uur lang met de schil in contact gebracht voordat het sap wordt bewaard en bezonken voor inoculatie en fermentatie in roestvrijstalen tanks. Ongeveer 18 procent van het sap wordt gefermenteerd in een combinatie van nieuwe en 2e vulling Franse eiken vaten, waar het 100 dagen op de fijne droesem wordt bewaard. De 9 procent Semillon-component wordt ook gefermenteerd in eikenhout. Ten slotte werden de porties gemengd op smaak, diepte en complexiteit voordat het gebotteld wordt.Het fruitige karakter van Koetshuis Sauvignon Blanc
De kleur van deze heerlijke witte wijn is licht strogeel met een frisse groene tint erin. De geur is exotisch met mooie indrukken van ananas, citrus, passievruchten en perzik. In de smaak fris, stuivend en verfijnd. Fijne indrukken van perzik, passievruchten en citrus. Afgewisseld met wat bloemen. Een heerlijk frisse en lange afdronken maken deze wijn helemaal af. This will work but prep is key!
I have an older RV that the gelcoat has dulled and is oxidized, but otherwise in good shape. I have buffed and polished in the past only for it to last a short time. I was looking up different products to try and this one has such good reviews, I thought I would give it a try. I bought the kit with the Poliglow and the Poliprep, with the scrubber and the microfiber glove. I started with the poliprep and it did a great job of gettting the streaks and black marks off. You spend a lot of time scrubbing to your likeness because anything that is still on the gelcoat when you apply the poliglow, it will be locked in there. The Poliglow is like a clearcoat that goes over the gelcoat. You have to build up layers and here are some of the tips and tricks I figured out that really helped my finished RV look great. First, make sure the applicator stays damp, this keeps the poliglow more uniform across the glove. Also, stick it in a zip lock bag when not using, you do not want it to dry out while you are using it. I found out that applying this in direct sunlight in warm temps, is the best method. This allows the poliglow to dry really fast. The first 3 or 4 layers will look streaky and dull but this is ok and as you build up the layers, the shine will come back. I found if you do this when its cooler, the layers do not dry as quick and you will get some permanent streaking or running. I had to remove a section I did in the evening because I noticed this. When in direct sunlight, this gave me the best results with no streaking or running. It dries fast and you can keep working. Like it says, do not do big sections at a time, keep it to small what you can reach sections and build those up and move on. As far as how much to buy? I have a 40 ft toy hauler and I got to kits and I had just enough to finish the whole thing minus the nose cap. I have Durabak on the nose cap, so I dont need to worry about that. I ended up buying one more bottle of the poliglow to have for my maintenance coats. Overall, I am pleased with how my 10 year old RV looks and other than some of the decals show age, it looks new again. If I were to buy a new RV, I would put this on right away and preserve the whole RV including the decals. Its not too expensive and its a lot of work, especially the prep, but it does end up with great results.

Excellent shine
Excellent line of products. Looking at the picture, you can see what the camper looked like before the Poli Glow. To the left of the window is the after Poli Glow.
It takes some elbow grease (follow instructions well) but well worth it.

Camping enthusiast approved
One bottle covered my 20ft camping trailer 4 coats and with a little remaining for future touch ups. It definitely increases the gloss. I'm glad I didn't waste my time with wax. This is like an easy wipe on clear coat. I will report back in the future for longevity.

great product and leaves a great shine. The Poli Glow doesn't go as far as the video states and it depends on condition of RV, boat...This is a great product but takes more to get a great shine!!
