De plancha bowl is een plancha met een diepe afgeronde vuurschaal waarbij de bakplaat in de gietijzeren schaal hangt. Een uniek design, zeer makkelijk in gebruik en een zeer ruime schaal.
Optioneel kan de vuurschaal ook rechtgezet worden in een speciale sokkel.

CORTENSTAAL

Onze Plancha’s zijn gemaakt uit Cortenstaal, een ijzersterke en duurzame grondstof. De karakteristieke oranjebruine gloed krijg je als de buitenste laag in aanraking komt met water. Het roestproces, ook oxidatieproces genoemd, kan tot anderhalf jaar duren, afhankelijk van de weersomstandigheden. Tijdens die periode is het belangrijk om het product afwisselend nat en droog te bewaren. Als het staal niet opdroogt kan er geen beschermende laag ontstaan. Opgelet met een bleek terras, tijdens de eerste maand kan Cortenstaal na een regenbui roestwater afgeven. Eens het oxidatieproces afgelopen is, kan je het Cortenstaal eender waar plaatsen.

Cortenstaal is een ijzer waaraan koper, fosfor, silicium, nikkel en chroom zijn toegevoegd. Deze legering beschermt het staal zodat er geen verdere corrosie ontstaat. Het is daarom ook onderhoudsvrij. Het staal is zeer sterk en is daarom uitermate geschikt voor tuin en interieur. Het is recycleerbaar en gaat tot 10 maal langer mee dan gewoon staal. Het eindresultaat is nooit één homogene kleur, hierdoor is ieder toestel uniek. Het voordeel van Cortenstaal is dat het in elke tuin past. Of deze nu klassiek of modern is, zijn unieke touch past overal.

Not eczema skin friendly

Since I didn’t remember which sunblock spray I had previously purchased (that was super awesome), I got this one with a few other ‘kid’ sunblock spray and stick. I had grabbed this one for a splash pad birthday party this weekend only to find out it’s messy and not eczema skin friendly. Either we got a defective bottle or it’s just the way it sprays: runny goops of sunscreen that takes awhile to dry properly (see photo). And when it dries it really does stick onto your skin as advertised (aka not breathable, pore clogging, will irritate sensitive/eczema prone skin). My youngest has eczema prone skin (that’s been flare up free for 3 years) had a severe break out on her arms after using this. And even for the sake of photo demonstration for this post my own sensitive skin got red/irritated. So does it stick-yup. Is it messy? Definitely. Easy to apply? No (your kiddos have to stay put until it dries). Did it provide sun protection? Maybe…? Sensitive skin friendly? No. Eczema skin approved? Definitely not. Recommended? Nope. We threw it away and requested a refund.

Great children's sunscreen for sensitive skin
I really like this children's sunscreen. The facial stick that comes with it is quite small but it's still very convenient and works well. You do need to rub the facial stick in once it's applied to your child's face. The spray sunscreen also needs to be rubbed in as well because it comes out a little thick but is easy to rub in. There is not really a scent to it so my kids don't mind it being applied. My kids have sensitive skin too and we have had no problems as well. Would highly recommend!
