Een avontuurlijke rondreis per Land Rover door het indrukwekkende land van de vele gezichten, Marokko. Het islamitisch land met een enorme variatie van landschappen en cultuur. Bevolkt door Berbers, Arabieren en Touareqs. Een avontuurlijke reis, door groene bossen en valleien, oases, woestijn, duinen en natuurlijk het ruige Atlas-gebergte. Deze fascinerende reis laat u kennis maken met alle facetten die dit prachtig land u te bieden heeft met zijn vele contrasten, geuren en natuurlijke schoonheden. De 4×4 reis zorgt er voor dat u op die plekken komt waar weinige u voor zijn gegaan. Een rondreis met net dat ietsje meer wat het zo aantrekkelijk maakt voor de echte reizigers.

DE REIS

De reis begint in de havenplaats Algeciras in Andalusië, de zuidelijke regio van Spanje. Na de oversteek van de Middellandse zee naar het Afrikaanse continent start het 4×4 avontuur in Tanger.

Buiten het rijden over veel onverharde wegen en mooie gebieden gaan we ook kennis maken met de cultuur en geschiedenis van Marokko. Zo gaan we naar de Volubilis (2000 jaar oude Romeinse ruïne stad) en de Koningsstad Fes waar het nog steeds lijkt of de tijd is blijven stilstaan en waar het leven bruist op de kleurrijke ‘soeks’. Ook komen we langs de steden Meknes en Ilfrane. Bij voldoende tijd brengen we ook nog een bezoek aan Marrakech.

Deze schilderachtige steden die zo heel anders zijn en die ons stuk voor stuk het idee zullen geven beland te zijn in een sprookje van 1001 nacht. Maar ook Quarzazate en ruim drie dagen zand avontuur in de Sahara-woestijn via Tatu, Zagora & Merzouga staan op het programma. Maar de Marokko reis is nog veel meer: het indrukwekkende ruige Atlasgebergte, de pittoreske leemrode kasbah-dorpen, authentieke berberdorpjes, de bewoners, de traditie en een prachtig natuurschoon met unieke landschappen.

DE AUTO

Geschikt voor standaard 4×4 Land Rovers.  Zorg wel voor all-terrain banden. Lage gearing is aan te raden. De hele route is schadevrij te rijden, maar de auto zal zeker vuil worden. Onze ervaren instructeurs zijn er om je te helpen tijdens de reis.
