In 1982 werkten ze samen met Christian Moueix om Dominus Estate te creëren. De wijnen, vooral die van de afgelopen 25 jaar, smaken naar een serieuze Grand Cru uit Bordeaux, maar bezitten ook de rijpe fruitkenmerken uit Napa Valley. Om specifieker te zijn: een Napa-terroir, maar met een Bordeaux-spirit.

Beschrijving: Tonen van rode en zwarte bessen, cederhout, tabaksblad, kruidendoos en zoethout.

Lekker bij: Wildzwijn, rundvlees, lamsvlees.

Leuk weetje: Deze wijn heeft een uitstekende bewaarcapaciteit. Hij kan wel tot 40 jaar na de oogst verder rijpen. Hierbij ontwikkelt hij nog extra lagen aan smaak en textuur.
