De volksnaam ‘zuurbes’ heeft het te danken aan de scherpzure smaak van de bessen. Van oudsher worden deze bessen in Europa gebruikt bij de vervaardiging van jams omdat ze een natuurlijk bindmiddel bevatten: pectine. Tegenwoordig wordt de plant vanwege zijn nuttige eigenschappen over een groot deel van de wereld gekweekt.

Samenstelling per 30 ml
Berberis vulgaris (zuurbes) cortex radix cum summitates    30 ml

Ingredienten
Zuurbes (Berberis vulgaris). Alcoholpercentage 70% v/v.

Gebruik
3 tot 4 maal daags 15 tot 20 druppels.
Niet gebruiken tijdens zwangerschap en lactatieperiode.

Droog en bij kamertemperatuur bewaren.
