Marc Tempé ' Pinot Gris Amzelle 2020 'Marc startte zo'n 25 jaar geleden in de gemeente Zellenberg. Hij kocht een eeuwenoud wijndomein (gebouwd in de 18de eeuw) tegen de uitlopers van de Vogezen. In 1995 investeerde Temp in grote eiken foeders, van klein tot bijna 6000 liter. Marc houdt van traditie. Ook als het gaat over de vinificatie is hij hier zeer duidelijk in. Om het met zijn eigen woorden te zeggen: "Zro trucage". Alles gebeurt met minimale interventie en zo weinig mogelijk

Om het met zijn eigen woorden te zeggen: "Zéro trucage". Alles gebeurt met minimale interventie en zo weinig mogelijk machines. De enige machine op het domein is de pers. Sommige wijnen komen relatief laat op de markt, om de eenvoudige reden dat ze meer dan 2 jaar gisten en rijpen op de foeders. Gebruik van sulfiet is minimaal, enkel voor het bottelen wordt wat sulfiet toegevoegd ter bescherming van de wijn.

It is worth purchasing a Protection Plan on an unfamiliar item
Bought a 3-year protection plan for a nut milk maker machine for $5.99. It was a fairly new kitchen item in our household and we were not familiar with the brand. So, I bought the plan for a piece (peace) of mind. The machine worked nicely for about 18-20 months with daily use until it tripped the circuit outlet. My initial chat with Asurion did not go as I expected due to discrepancy on their end as they see a protection plan for the nut milk maker as a sporting goods valued between $100-$199, not as a kitchen item valued between $30-$39.99. ( I had bought 3 different protection plan on th same day for multiple items purchased on Prime Days). They were looking at a different plan and I was unable to get them to "scroll over" to the appropriate protection plan. I tried again on a different day during the first hour of their contact hours and had a cheerful Asurion agent who was able to find the appropriate kitchen item protection plan. It was a simple and thorough conversation and transaction. I was refunded within hours after I packed up and dropped off the damaged item out to UPS. Moral of the story: Asurion Protection Plan is worth it and contact them at the start of their first day shift, not at the end of their evening shift.
