Als kleinzoon van trompettist Doc Cheatham heeft Theo Croker jazzmuziek in zijn DNA. Escape Velocity is zijn vierde studioalbum, oorspronkelijk uitgebracht in 2016. Op Escape Velocity denkt en speelt Croker groots, samen met zijn al even getalenteerde band.
