Het gunstige effect daarvan is dat de druiven meer tijd hebben om voeding- en smaakstoffen op te nemen uit de bodem. Op een zanderige, grindachtige verweerde terroir met een ondergrond van klei staan de druiven voor deze wijn geplant. Handmatige pluk in de vroege ochtend (koele druiven) waarna de most onder gecontroleerde temperatuur van 13º tot 15º C. wordt vergist waardoor de geur- en smaakstoffen optimaal bewaard blijven. Voor de klaring blijft de wijn nog 6 weken op zijn lie. De apart gevinifieerde componenten semillon en viognier krijgen een lagering van 4 maanden op eiken voor de assemblage met de sauvignon blanc.Fonkelend helder met groene zweem. Kruisbessen en tropisch fruit met een vleugje citrus en kruiden domineren het bouquet dat in de smaak nog eens wordt aangevuld met pittige zuren die zorgen voor een heerlijke, frisse afdronk. They work! Even if you hate socks
