Het Bloom servies heeft twee verschillende ontbijtbordjes, perfect om lekker te combineren. Toen ik bij de distributeur van het Portugese Duro Ceramics dit bloemenservies zag staan was ik meteen verkocht. En dat terwijl ik helemaal niet zo van de bloemetjes en het roze ben. Maar dit hele servies klopt. Het is stoer, robuust, karaktervol en echt speciaal. Dus helemaal a-typisch voor een bloemenservies. Je ziet en voelt gewoon het plezier en vakmanschap waarmee het is gemaakt.

Roze zwanenbloem, witte takjes

Dit ontbijtbord is een soort klein aquarel-schilderij: een groen landschapje met witte en roze bloemen, takken en blaadjes. Het wordt omringd met duidelijk zichtbare roze kwaststreken.
Op de foto ziet deze roze rand er wat stippelig uit. Het bord is met de hand gevormd en daardoor is het oppervlak een hobbelig en bobbelig. Het licht valt in de 'putjes' en daardoor krijg je de stipjes.

Met de hand gemaakt

Het Only Rose en Bloom servies worden met de hand gevormd. Hierdoor is het oppervlak niet zo glad als bij de meeste standaard serviezen, maar is het een beetje bubbely. Maar, totaal niet ruw of onprettig, omdat de serviezen lekker dik in het glazuur zitten. Daardoor kunnen de borden ook allemaal in de oven, de vaatwasser en de magnetron. Wel zo handig natuurlijk.
