De band is volledig opnieuw ontworpen en biedt nog betere prestaties bij accelereren, bochten nemen en remmen. De brede zijblokken maken het nemen van bochten gemakkelijker, terwijl het dichtere profiel met centrale groeven voor meer controle zorgt. De drievoudige rubbersamenstelling MaxxTerra biedt ook een uitstekend compromis, met betere tractie en meer grip dan MaxxSpeed en betere prestaties dan MaxxGrip.

DoubleDown (DD) is een karkas dat is ontworpen voor enduro en elektrische mountainbikes. Het combineert twee lagen lichtgewicht materiaal 120 TPI met een butyl inzetstuk op de zijwanden, wat een uitstekende duurzaamheid biedt en een beter gevoel voor het terrein dan een Downhill karkas. Iets lichter dan een DH band, de DoubleDown zich vooral door zijn scherpere gevoel, hoewel sommige rijders de voorkeur geven aan de superieure demping van een DH karkas.

This is the tool you want. It is exceptionally functional, well made (made in the USA, if that matters to you), and beautiful in the way that quality tools are. The thing that really sets this tool apart is that it correctly balances form vs. function: a heavy duty build (as is the point when buying a bottle opener built by a tool company) without its use as a bottle opener (as is the point when buying ANY bottle opener) being negatively impacted by said build. I also bought the Craftsman bottle cap wrench, which, in my opinion, is hugely successful as feeling like a heavy duty tool and something of a failure as a bottle opener. It's so large and heavy, it has equal mass to the bottle you're opening. Imagine your buddy who has had one too many wielding a 12 oz. steel wrench over your tile floor, countertop, toes, etc. and you'll get the idea. Lastly, the engraving and materials on this Klein tool are so attractive I had to build it a custom wall mount instead of hiding it away in a drawer or tool chest. I will be buying a second for the office.
