Over Villa Loren

Villa Loren is toegewijd aan de variëteiten uit Veneto, dit is een zeer uitgestrekt gebied tussen Venetië en het Gardameer. Er worden elegante en volle wijnen geproduceerd, deze kenmerken zijn te danken aan de combinatie van voldoende zonneschijn en de nabijheid van de Adriatische kust die zorgt voor een verfrissend briesje. Bij Villa Loren streven ze ernaar waarde te geven aan het grondgebied van Valpolicella, waar de beroemde Amarone werd geboren.

Vinificatie

Na het ontstelen en pletten van de druiven volgde een koude maceratie vóór de gisting. De gisting vindt plaats bij gecontroleerde temperatuur, gevolgd door een malolactische gisting.

Druivensoorten

Rondinella, Corvina, Corvinone

Wijn-spijscombinatie

Rundvlees, wild en stoofpotten zoals biefstuk, lamsvlees, kalfsvlees, konijn, wild zwijn en hert. Kazen zoals Parmigiano Reggiano, Peccorino Vecchio of blauwaderkazen.
