In bocca ha una grande freschezza e sapidità, con tannini ancora astringenti. Finale lungo ed ammandorlato.La denominazione Monferrato DOC è una delle più importanti del Piemonte. Il Girotondo di Accornero Giulio è prodotto da uve nebbiolo in purezza, coltivate nel comune di Vignale Monferrato, in provincia di Alessandria. Dopo la vendemmia manuale, le uve vinificano in acciaio, prima di affinare in tonneaux per 12 mesi, arricchendosi di aromi terziari preziosi ed eleganti, come le spezie, che ne sottolineano la complessità e lo spessore qualitativo.
Si abbina ad arrosti, formaggi a pasta semi-dura e piatti della tradizione piemontese.
