From the mind of Steve Niles (the legendary creator of 30 Days of Night) and the hauntingly atmospheric art of Szymon Kudrański (Spawn, The Punisher) comes A Town Called Terror. Published by Image Comics, this trade paperback collects the first six issues of the hit series that reimagines family drama as a high-stakes, gothic nightmare.

This item is Brand New, making it a perfect addition for fans of cinematic horror, supernatural mysteries, and dark, brooding indie comics.

A Family Drama of Monstrous Proportions

  • The Story: Henry West is a man who thought he escaped his past. But when he is brutally kidnapped in the middle of the night, he wakes up in a place he swore he’d never return to: Terror, a town hidden from the world and populated entirely by monsters.

  • The Mystery: While Henry's wife, Julie, frantically searches for him in the human world, Henry must navigate the twisted politics of his hometown and confront his father, the man who rules Terror with an iron fist.
  • Cinematic Art Style: Szymon Kudrański’s signature use of heavy shadows and a limited color palette creates a suffocating sense of dread, perfectly complementing Niles' gritty, suspense-filled narrative.

  • Modern Horror Classic: If you enjoyed the visceral chills of 30 Days of Night or the surreal landscapes of Spawn, this series offers a fresh, psychological take on creature features.

Good Core Content but I won't read it again
Format: Kindle
This book makes a strong stand for the position that the Bible does not fit within the genre of myth. That is the positive aspects of this work. However, this book at times seems somewhat philosophical, it can be hard to follow the author's logic, and it does not adequately cover one of the most fundamental questions the author poses. For example, the question of whether the theology of the Bible should receive special credence if the historical basis it rests on is found to be incorrect is asked, but the answer given is short and does not fully interact with the question which I found to be very disappointing.

Really Helpful and Easier to Use Than I Expected
Format: Paperback
I bought the APA 7th Edition manual for my college research papers, and it’s been a lifesaver. Compared to the older edition, this one feels much clearer and way easier to navigate. The full-color layout and the examples throughout really help when I’m stuck on how to format citations or references. I especially appreciate the new sections tailored for students like me—it’s not just for professional writers anymore. Plus, the tips on inclusive language made me think more carefully about how I write. It’s definitely a dense read if you try to go cover-to-cover, but as a reference book, it’s super practical. The only downside is that it’s a bit pricey, but for the quality and how often I use it, it’s totally worth it. If you’re in school or need to write APA-style papers regularly, I’d recommend grabbing this manual. It makes the whole process less stressful.
