Light: This cactus loves bright, indirect light and can handle some direct sun too. A south- or west-facing window is ideal. In lower light, it may become elongated or lose its compact shape, so try to keep it in a well-lit spot.
Water: Like most cacti, Mammillaria Ernestii prefers to dry out completely between waterings. Water thoroughly only when the soil is bone dry—roughly every 3–4 weeks in warmer months and even less in winter. Be cautious of overwatering, as it’s highly susceptible to root rot.
