A serene study in vintage Chinese Art Deco aesthetics, this 4x6 hand-knotted wool rug—presented by LoomBloom—captures the beauty of early 20th-century decorative design through its refined balance of color and form. The soft light-peach field creates a calming visual expanse that highlights the crisp midnight-blue medallion, which is adorned with floral and scrolling motifs emblematic of classical Chinese symbolism. Encircling the medallion, a richly layered border introduces tones of rust, blush, caramel, and blue arranged in rhythmic floral patterns that complement the rug’s harmonious palette. The low, velvety pile underscores the clarity of each motif, offering both durability and a smooth tactile experience. This piece suits bedrooms, reading nooks, formal sitting rooms, or interiors searching for a soft yet distinctive Art Deco accent. Highly appealing for U.S. buyers seeking vintage Chinese rugs, light-peach Art Deco décor, or hand-knotted collectible wool pieces.

Story Behind the Art : Chinese Art Deco rugs, produced during the 1920s–1940s, reflect a unique fusion of Chinese artistry and Western Art Deco geometry. With rich jewel-tone palettes combined with pale pastels, these rugs feature symbolic florals like peonies and chrysanthemums, mythical birds, pagodas, and scenic landscape motifs. While authentic pieces are now rare antiques, LoomBloom’s exclusive Chinese Art Deco collection revitalizes these timeless designs for contemporary interiors. Each rug is hand-tufted or handmade, blending the vintage aesthetic with modern accessibility, offering U.S. shoppers an affordable yet sophisticated alternative to original Art Deco rugs. Their bold motifs and decorative elegance make them popular in eclectic, transitional, and statement-driven spaces.

Stalin's Dialectical and Historical Materialism is Reviewed
The English language edition of this pamphlet was first published by International Publishers. I first purchased this pamphlet in about 1977. pamphlet was actually printed in 1973.

definitive and final statement
This is the definitive and final statement on marxian dialectical materialism. The best concise exposition that has been written on the subject.

I'd recommend it, especially at this give-away-price
As a sociologist, I was always interested as to how the USSR could morph what Marx considered communalism networked by a shallow, weak, centralized and supposedly representative government into what I would considered an extremest left-wing oligarchy (most fashionably consider it right-wing despite how it was sold and supported by the people that allowed it- so much for cultural relativity and in context social analysis!). If Stalin actually wrote these pieces (or more commonly among dictators farmed it out to a frightened academic ghostwriter) then it could help explain why Marx disassociated himself with much of the Marxist movement toward the end of his life. It is a logically written and well informed book - worth the read if you are into the sociology of politics, philosophy of politics or the history of politics. I'd recommend it, especially at this give-away-price!

Good book, mediocre edition
Format: Paperback
This review pertains to the quality of this edition's editing and construction, rather than the content of the book itself. Rest assured that the text itself remains a valuable piece of introductory theory. The book is fairly well constructed, with paper and a binding that is sturdy enough for general use. However, my copy had several manufacturing errors including folded over pages being stuck into the binding. In addition, there are several misspelled words throughout the text and some obvious typos (missing letters, incorrect capitalization and punctuation) that did not majorly impact the readability of the text, but were, nevertheless, annoying. Considering the low price of this edition the manufacturing errors are hardly a big deal, but I would have preferred the text itself to have been treated with more care and respect while being prepared for printing.

thoughts on Xi Jinping
Format: Kindle
This book was highly organized and very easy to comprehend. I have formed a much better understanding of Xi Jinping and where he is taking China. Although I feel he has been thoughtful and successful in some areas such as improving China economically, I don’t feel his autocratic approach will succeed in the long run when more Chinese people will demand to be heard. Just as Mao thought didn’t outlast Mao, Xi thought will not outlast Xi.
