Craftsmanship
Syahi Begar Technique from Bagru
This ancient process, handed down through generations of artisans, uses:
Syahi (Black): A natural dye made from fermented horse-shoe iron, jaggery, and water.
Begar (Red): Created from alum, madder root, and resin of the Babool tree.
Each design is hand block-printed using intricately carved wooden blocks from Pethapur, featuring floral and geometric motifs that are both rooted and contemporary.
Fabric & Features
Fabric: Lightweight, breathable Kota Doria, handwoven with its signature checkered weave
Technique: Traditional block printing using natural vegetable dyes
