The Canon XA10 is a compact and versatile professional HD camcorder designed for high-quality video recording in a lightweight and portable form. Ideal for events, documentaries, and field productions, it combines professional features with ease of use.
The XA10 features a 1/3-inch native 1920 x 1080 CMOS sensor that delivers full HD video with rich color and excellent low-light performance. It comes with a Canon HD Video Lens with a 10x optical zoom (equivalent to 30.4–304mm), ensuring clear and detailed images from wide-angle to telephoto shots.
It supports recording in AVCHD format at up to 24 Mbps, providing superior image quality and efficient file storage. The camcorder also includes dual SD card slots for relay or simultaneous recording, ensuring uninterrupted shooting.
The XA10 offers professional audio control with an attachable handle unit that includes two XLR inputs, manual audio level controls, and a stereo microphone. A 3.5-inch touchscreen LCD and 0.24-inch viewfinder make it easy to frame and monitor shots.
Additional features include infrared (IR) recording for low-light or night shooting, optical image stabilization, customizable shooting modes, and manual control over focus, exposure, and white balance.
