Accessible Trail Performance: Premium Extended Off-Road Protection

Entry-level pricing meets premium off-road engineering. The MET Echo is an entry-level mountain bike helmet designed for high quality and protection on the trails. Whether you are exploring the technical singletracks of Vipingo Ridge, navigating rough up-country dirt roads, or heading out for an weekend trail loop, the Echo provides the essential extended coverage and state-of-the-art construction needed to ride with complete confidence. The sleek, understated Black Matt finish delivers a stealthy, versatile aesthetic that perfectly complements any trail kit or bike frame.

Why the MET Echo Rules the Entry-Level Trail Class:

  • Extended Drop-Rear Coverage: Off-road riding demands targeted impact protection. The Echo is engineered with a dropped rear profile that extends deeper down the back of the skull compared to standard road or cross-country helmets, shielding your most vulnerable neural areas.
  • In-Mould Construction Engineering: Built to last through tough trail conditions. The durable polycarbonate outer shell is permanently fused directly to the shock-absorbing EPS foam liner, creating an incredibly tough, integrated structural architecture that remains remarkably lightweight.
  • Removable Variable Visor: Shield your eyes from the intense equatorial sun, low-hanging branches, or mud spray. The front visor can be removed quickly for a cleaner profile, and it is color-matched perfectly to the stealth black matte shell.
  • Safe-T Mid Retention Fit System: Experience a secure, wobble-free fit over rough, vibrating singletracks. The 360-degree adjustable retention belt wraps entirely around your head, tightening evenly via a smooth micro-dial to eliminate uncomfortable pressure points.
  • Anti-Insect Internal Front Netting: Don't let unwanted distractions break your focus on high-speed trail sections. The front-facing intake vents feature integrated mesh netting to block bees, wasps, and trail debris from entering your helmet while keeping airflow completely uninhibited.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) for Trail Riders:

Can I wear this helmet for daily road commuting or gravel riding?

Absolutely. While the Echo is optimized with extended rear coverage for mountain biking, its lightweight profile, removable visor, and excellent ventilation make it a highly versatile crossover option for rugged gravel routes and everyday commuting.

How does the matte black finish hold up against trail dust and mud?

Exceptionally well. The rugged matte black outer shell is specifically formulated to mask fine trail dust and resist minor scuffs from low-hanging branches, keeping it looking clean over long off-road miles.

Very well written, great coping ideas for toddlers!
Format: Paperback, Format: Paperback
A little backstory - my son hits. It’s not like aggressive but he is 19 months and tends to use his hands when he is frustrated. That being said I am genuinely impressed with this book. It seems long but it’s not. It’s a good length but my toddler was able to sit through the whole thing. It has plenty of pictures for each coping skill, making it one skill per page. My son seemed to really be paying attention and absorbing the book. The author did well putting things in simpler terms while also continuing to repeat why hitting is bad. The author describes many different ways why hitting hurts, makes people sad, hurts them physically and mentally. It’s all inclusive, different kids that all look different. That was a bonus for me. I love books who acknowledge us all. It teaches our children to do the same. Pages are sturdy, they are paper not that waxy laminated material. But they’re thick and the book is structured well. Books are such an important part of children’s development and vocabulary. My son has learned a whole new vocabulary. This book has helped him put faces, pictures to his feelings. It has made those feelings real and seen. Sign me up for all the books like this!

Decent book with good techniques for kids
Format: Paperback
Cute book that my two and a half year old will reach for every now and then. She'll try mimicking what they're doing, like clenching her fists and blowing bubbles, while she reads it. However, she doesn't really use the techniques when she is mad and just telling her "we don't hit when we're mad" and "we don't hit our friends/mama/daddy/etc" has been more effective. But maybe when she's older this will help if she starts hitting again.

Perfect aged book
Format: Paperback
I truly liked this book for our son when he was 3 years old. It was done very simple and to the point. It allowed you as a parent to add on if you wanted and to talk about the pages. This was a very helpful book in our house.
