'В чому наше благо? Афоризми' — збірка творів, що належать перу давньогрецького філософа Епіктета. До неї увійшли 'Афоризми' і трактат 'В чому наше благо?' Це роздуми відомого, зрештою, провідного, проповідника стоїцизму від класичної грецької школи про сенс життя і природу, про моральність, щастя і свободу особистості.

Власне, роздуми Епіктета — це підвалини філософського напрямку самовдосконалення і саморозвитку. Епіктет вважав, що людина повинна розділити усі речі і обставини на залежні від неї і незалежні. У першому випадку мужньо виконувати свій обов'язок, решту — ігнорувати. Його високо цінував і посилався на нього інший відомий філософ, імператор Марк Аврелій Антонін — у своїх культових нині 'Розмислах'. Епіктет — прізвисько раба, що перекладається з грецької мови як Придбаний. Справжнє ім'я філософа невідоме. Епіктет був рабом одного з фаворитів римського імператора Нерона. Пізніше відпущений на волю. Після себе письмових робіт не залишив, його філософські промови збереглися завдяки записам його учня Флавія Арріана.
