Most work in the gallery will be marked down between now and the end of January! Please inquire. This work will be shipped free worldwide, if rolled in a secure tube.

 

This outstanding painting by Cora measures 54" x 51", and is framed. It is in excellent condition. This work will be shipped free worldwide, if rolled in a secure tube. It is available for pickup or free delivery within Southern California, with the framing. If shipped framed domestically, we will ship complimentary, rolled in a tube. Otherwise, please inquire. We pack and ship at our cost.

His career is on the ascendancy, and it appears as if the art community, critics, museums, and collectors are beginning to acknowledge his significance. After all, it was Tamayo who asked Bernard Lewin to represent this young man, when few knew of his existence. He was a student of Tamayo at the time, and he was very fond of Cora's work. Lewin did very well with his work, and now, the same applies to several other galleries in the US, and in Mexico. He has enjoyed over 150 shows worldwide, and is in the permanent collection of many significant museums. Very few works from this period by Cora are presently available anywhere in the world.

This work is nicely framed. If shipped internationally it will be shipped without the framing.

Cheap broken box and no bag, allow pieces to fall out and are now missing….

Tiny little puzzle with no picture and missing pieces…. What you should receive is a very small box, a little larger than a lighter or the size of a key fob. The box is very light weight and flimsy. Mine arrived crushed on the bottom corner and ripped. This is similar to a candy box. Same type and weight. The pieces are not in a bag at all so when my box arrived in the condition it was in, and nothing sealed, of course pieces are missing. There are supposed to be to be 26 and I don’t have but half. They all fell out of the box like candy falls out of a broken box. The puzzle itself is done by laser and the pieces I do have fit together well but, the color is off. I believe they use a stain and the ink has spread into the other pieces next to them. The color is deep and intense and most is accurately done but some pieces have multiple colors that are not in the right place. Some pieces I can’t tell which side is the front and which side is the back. The pieces are also so small, with so much information crammed on, I can’t make it out as I work on it or once it’s completed the best I can with only part of the pieces. I am disappointed with the whole thing and can only say the laser cutting was done well. Other than that, I wouldn’t order again, especially for a souvenir.
