Lead a gang of adorable cats, explore Kyoto and gain treasures!

2-5 Players  |  15+ Mins  |  Ages 8+

Features: Actions, Cards, Push Your Luck, Set Collection

Theme: Card Game, Nature & Animals, Childhood, Japan

Description:

A cat's life may be wonderful, but even the happiest of cats will be curious to know what's hidden behind the walls of their garden!

In this game, players take on the role of cats exploring the city. As the deck is explored, the cats will find food, friends and special gifts... But be careful not to stay too late: you might get lost in the streets of Kyoto!

In the card game Gangs Of Kyoto, the goal of the game is simple: be the first to have banked 13 bells before anyone else.

The cards in the game represent bells, clever little powers or nothing at all. They also all have a numerical value from 0 to 5.

On their turn, the active player deals cards one by one to the players around the table, including themselves.

Each card is added in value to the previous one received in another round, and as soon as a player reaches or exceeds 13, the round ends, he "jumps" and allows the other players to "bank" all their bells cards.

Enjoy quick rounds set in the world of Kyoto No Neko!

Wonderful exegetical commentary
Format: Hardcover
This replaces Grant Osborne's 2002 commetary on Revelation in the Baker series. The introduction is concise. The scholarship is inspring. The treatment of the seven letters to the seven churches is the best I've seen. Schreiner defends a premillenial view called "new creation" millenialism, which sees the thousand year reign of Christ and the saints as both an eschatological "sabbath" and also as the initial age of the New Heaven and Earth (eternity). In my opinion he does surpass Osborne on this subject, though Osborne's commentary remains outstanding in every way. Whatever your leanings on the millennium might be, Schreiner's excursus into that subject before treating Rev. 20 is as good as an excursus gets and worth the price of the book by itself. I found his resolutions of the major issues both compelling and uplifting. Buy it.

Technical in detail, but highly readable.
Format: Hardcover
This is an excellent commentary on Revelation alone or alongside other commentaries. Schreiner interacts with other scholars in the field, summarizing the interpretive options, and constantly reaches a theologically solid conclusion. You won't be disappointed!

Not great, not bad
Format: Hardcover
There are a few sections that are stand-outs. He's a pleasant writer, but over all not much new ground plowed.
