Colt Express: Marshal & Prisoners Expansion takes an exciting turn with the Marshal & Prisoners expansion. In this version, the bandits must face off against the cunning and powerful Marshal, who is now controlled by one of the players, each with their own objectives. The Marshal wins if they complete their goals before the fifth round ends. Additionally, a new Prison car has been added to the back of the train, where bandits are sent if they’re caught—an undesirable fate as it means missing out on loot.

A new character, Mei, the agile acrobat, joins the train. As a skilled climber, she’s tough to catch, and she knows how to use her skills to her advantage.

MARSHAL — Samuel Ford, the Marshal, performs actions that are different from the bandits. He can move and climb faster than anyone else, making it difficult for the outlaws to evade him. His two pistols are also specially powerful, disarming, injuring, and incapacitating bandits. The Marshal has two types of objectives: capturing a specific bandit and completing tasks like shooting all bandits on the train or preventing the mail bag from being stolen. He becomes a target himself, and bandits can shoot or punch him, gaining prestige and titles like Gold, Silver, or Bronze Punch if successful.

PRISONERS — Inside the Prison car are rookie bandits who can be freed and will assist you with their special abilities or by stealing for you.

BRILLIANT IDEA — Bandits now have a new action: the Brilliant Idea. This allows them to escape from prison, free other prisoners, or mimic the last action played by a bandit.

NEW BANDIT — Mei, the Chinese acrobat, has the unique ability to move "diagonally" when changing floors, allowing her to travel between adjacent cars in a way other characters cannot.

OVERVIEW:
Colt Express: Marshal & Prisoners is an expansion for the award-winning Colt Express game. It is designed for 3 to 8 players, with an estimated playtime of 40 minutes. Suitable for ages 10 and up. Designed by Christophe Raimbault and illustrated by Jordi Valbuena.

Asymmetrical Gameplay:
One player takes on the role of the Marshal, battling against the bandits to enforce law, order, and honor. The Marshal has 5 goals to accomplish, and if they complete at least 4, they win the game. Otherwise, the wealthiest bandit is the victor.

NEW CONTENT:

• One New Car: The Prison car, where bandits are sent when caught, containing rookie bandits who can be freed for assistance.
• One New Bandit: Mei, the acrobat, with unique movement abilities.
• One New Action: The Brilliant Idea action, allowing bandits to escape or imitate actions.
