樹齢千年の杉が生い茂り希少な苔や野生のツツジに覆われた神秘的で原初的な熱帯雨林が広がる屋久島。
屋久杉の巨大な幹、腐植土、驚異的な密度で青々と生い茂る植物、清らかな滝、そのすべての息吹からは素晴らしく心地よい純粋な植物の香りが漂います。

恵まれた気候の恩恵を受け世界最高の香を生み出すと言われる淡路島。 千年以上もの間、 「香師」と呼ばれる香料職人によって、この地で父から子へ受け継がれてきました。彼らだけが製工程の４つの段階を完璧にマスターしています。厳選された天然素材、貴重な木材、ハーブ、植物性樹脂、香料を調合する工程。生地をこね、長時間プレスし２週間置いて香りを吸収させる工程。 生地を細長く巻いたリボンを好みのサイズにカットする工程。そして西風に当て３日間乾燥させ束ねます。この歴史と伝統のある丁寧な手仕事で仕上げられ たスペシャルなインセンスです。
マッチなどでスティックの先端に火をつけて、香炉または砂や香炉灰を入れたボウルに挿してご使用ください。
