This expression is first matured in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels, imparting soft vanilla tones, before being finished in a rare combination of Colheita and Tawny Port casks from Graham’s. These distinctive casks lend layers of complexity to the whisky, making it a masterpiece of maturation.  

On the nose, it opens with the sweetness of Manuka honey, followed by rich dark berries, marzipan, and a hint of cinnamon. The palate is equally luxurious, showcasing flavors of Victoria plums, dark cacao, and Maraschino cherries, balanced by subtle notes of Colombian coffee. This multi-layered profile is as sophisticated as it is indulgent, drawing on its long aging and diverse cask influences.  

The finish is long and memorable, with vibrant blood orange mingling with moist ginger cake and traces of liquorice.
