1901 500cfm Electric Choke Edelbrock AVS2. These are so hard to find on the rebuild market. they are so new. These have the annular boosters which are way better than the dropleg boosters and the air damn is on top so you can adjust that too. really great carb. this one will not embarrass you at the car show. These are rebuilt carbs, so some blemish and wear and tear is expected. I rebuild every carb, regardless if it needs it or not.
The process is the same each time, I completely strip them down, soda blast them in the blast cabinet, then hot tank them in an ultrasonic cleaner. I rebuild them using ONLY original Edelbrock rebuild kits (I don't use knock off kits, they stink). If the jets or rods have been changed, I put in new original ones from Edelbrock. I put everything at factory spec: Floats 7/16 at closed, Bleed screws at 1.5 turns out from seated, Idle screw at 1.5 turns from beginning to open blades, Jets and rods checked to make sure they are OEM, accelerator pump on middle hole. I spray all my rebuilds with Sharkhide, it will protect the aluminum from oxidizing for a few years.
These are remanufactured returns. each is gone through, checked and cleaned. they look nearly perfect and will not embarrass you at the car show. The Edelbrock #1901 AV2 Series 500 cfm Carburetor is designed and calibrated for small cubic-inch single carb applications, match with an Edelbrock Performer or Performer EPS manifold or other brands of similar design. The picture is of one in similar condition.
